Crispus Brewer

The name Crispus is Latin in origin and its meaning is crisp or curly. Crispin was the chief of the synagogue at Corinth.

Crispus (Cristover) Brewer was born between 1625 and 1630. His parents were probably not Daniel and Joanna Brewer as he was not mentioned in Daniel’s will.

His wife was named Mary. Their children and life together are described in detail in the section on Crispus and Mary Brewer.

He died between December 10, 1706, and February 10, 1706/07.
